VPK is Free to All 4-Year Olds!
Voluntary Prekindergarten or VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school.
The VPK class offers a high-quality program that includes high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, small class size, and qualified teachers.
If you live in Florida and have a child who turned 4 years of age by September 1, 2008 your child is eligible for Florida’s FREE VPK program.
CSA Preschool is offering a free VPK program. New VPK students can get a

Walk in hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am - 3:30pm
Applications are available online at the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole County.
Existing VPK students may request a transfer into our program by calling 407-532-4422.
VPK Roundup for 2009-10
The first Seminole County VPK Roundup for 2009-10 will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9am-1pm.
The roundup will be hosted by Community Christian Preschool

VPK is open to all children who will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2009 and are eligible for kindergarten in Fall of 2010.
There are no income requirements to sign up.
You will need to bring:
A birth certificate or other document showing proof of your child's age.
Proof of Florida residency (driver's license)
Child's social security number (not required but appreciated).
Bringing copies of the above documents will reduce your wait time.
At the Roundup you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility voucher. Simply bring the voucher to the CSA Preschool to claim your spot. Please call 407-802-6858 if you would like more information.
